Winning the War: Accomplishing Life Goals Despite Chronic Pain

Accomplishing all of life's milestones is incredible.  Every individual who finishes their degree, gets married, has a child, or fulfills a dream deserves a huge round of applause!

However, this victory is even sweeter when you've been battling chronic pain.  If you've read my previous blogs, then you know my diagnosis acronyms lined up would be better as a list of degree abbreviations behind my name verse a list of dragons to slay daily just to function.

Today, I personally accomplished a major life goal!  Today, I submitted my thesis and finished my field hours.  What does that mean?  It means that I finished my Masters Degree in Social Work!

After two and a half years of hard work, I have earned a Masters Degree in Social Work, complete my thesis on food insecurity among college students, and started a full time position.  I'm honored to be working on my digital presence and identity, and to gain more experience in the non-profit sector!
